The Radical Motion Simulator is built by 3 mechanical engineering students in the creativity innovation enterprise (CIE) option over a span of 14 weeks in Singapore Polytechnic as part of their final year project and showcased in the SP Open house Spinnovex industry and public exhibition. The simulator is actuated using electro-pneumatics computed by a dual networked PC setup and running on proprietary software as well as the hobbyist X-Sim software (www.x-simulator.de). Led by team leader, Shaun Chng (www.shaunchng.com), the project won the highest possible gold award for the exhibition.
